Backwoods Deerskin Pouch #106(SOLD)

This is another unique, completely handmade and handsewn, very early style smoked tanned deerskin pouch. The bag has been sewn around the outside with waxed linen thread. This bag is made from walnut hull dyed smoked tanned deerskin. The bag has been lined with vintage ticking. The straps are made from 4-5oz veg tanned leather and walnut hull dyed hemp. The bag measures 9 1/4 inches from top to bottom and 8 1/2 inches wide. The buckle strap measures 12 3/4 inches long, 1 1/4 inches wide, and features an aged brass buckle. The long strap measures 51 inches long, 1 1/4 inches wide, and features 7 holes for adjustment. The button is handmade from oak.
The bag has been finished with two coats of a beeswax conditioner.
Everything has been done completely by hand. It has been cut, sewn with waxed linen thread, dyed, and finished by hand, no machines or assembly line methods used at all just to save time.
