Handmade Leather Possibles Bag

This is a one of a kind leather, shooting, hunting, or Mountain Man possibles bag. This is an early style, simple one piece construction. The bag is made from 3-4oz vegetable tanned cowhide and has been sewn on two sides.The bag measures close to 9 1/4 inches wide and 9 1/2 inches from top to bottom and features a large inside pocket. The buckle strap measures 16 inches long and 1 1/4 inches wide and features a handmade buckle. The long strap measures 52 inches long, is 1 1/4 inches wide as well, and has 5 holes for adjustment. I made part of the long strap look like it had been repaired and replaced with a black leather strap. The buckle strap, bag, and part of the long strap are a dark brown, used look. I have given the bag a period correct oil/wax finish.
Everything has been done completely by hand. It has been cut, sewn with waxed linen thread, dyed, and finished by hand, no machines used at all
