Handmade Leather Shooting Bag #143

This is another unique, completely handmade and handsewn with waxed linen thread, leather hunting or shooting bag. The bag is made from 3-4oz veg tanned cowhide. The straps are made from 4-5oz veg tanned cowhide. The bag measures 10 1/2 inches wide at the middle and 8 1/2 inches from top to bottom. The buckle strap measures 9 inches long, 1 1/4 inches wide, and features an aged solid brass buckle. The long strap measures 49 1/2 inches long, 1 1/4 inches wide, and features 10 holes for adjustment. The bag features include, an inside pocket, bound main pocket and flap edge, a full welt, and a period correct oil and beeswax finish. I have given the bag and straps an aged look. I used a combination of two different leather stains to achieve the look. 
Everything has been done completely by hand. It has been cut, sewn with waxed linen thread, dyed, and finished by hand, no machines or assembly line methods used at all just to save time.
