Hunting/Shooting Bag #146

This is another unique, completely handmade and handsewn with waxed linen thread, leather hunting or shooting bag. This bag is a simple style of construction. The bag has been sewn around the outside edge. The bag is made from 3-4oz veg tanned cowhide. The straps are made from 4-5oz veg tanned cowhide. The bag measures 8 1/4 inches wide at the middle and 8 3/4 inches from top to bottom. The two piece buckle strap measures 14 inches long. It tapers from 1 1/4 inches wide to 1 inch wide and features a vintage harness buckle. The two piece long strap measures 57 inches long. It tapers from 1 1/4 inches wide to 1 inch wide and features 10 holes for adjustment. The bag features include, an aged brass shank button, an aged look, and a period correct oil and beeswax finish. 
I used a combination of different leather stains that have been layered to achieve the look of age.
Everything has been done completely by hand. It has been cut, sewn with waxed linen thread, dyed, and finished by hand, no machines or assembly line methods used at all just to save time.
