Leather Hunting/Shooting Bag(SOLD)

This is a very unique, completely handmade, simple leather hunting/shooting bag. This is an example of a very early style of hunting bag. The bag is made from 3-4oz veg tanned leather. The straps are made from 6-7oz veg tanned leather. The bag measures 8 1/2 inches wide and 9 3/4 inches from top to bottom. The buckle strap measures 10 1/2 inches long, 1 inch wide, and features an aged handmade steel buckle. The long strap measures 46 inches long, is 1 inch wide as well, and features 6 holes for adjustment. The bag features include, a simple two piece construction sewn around the outside, a large inside pocket, an aged brass button, and trim on the outside edge of the flap. I have given the bag a black stain and a period correct oil/beeswax finish.
Everything has been done completely by hand. It has been cut, sewn with waxed linen thread, dyed, and finished by hand, no machines used at all.
