Handmade Leather Hunting/Shooting Bag #154

This is another incredibly unique, completely handmade and handsewn with waxed pure linen thread, leather hunting/shooting bag. This bag is a simple, early two piece design. This bag is made from 3-4oz veg tanned cowhide. The straps are made from 5-6oz veg tanned cowhide. The bag measures approximately 9 inches wide at the middle and 11 inches from top to bottom when closed. The buckle strap measure 9 1/2 inches long, 1 1/4 inches wide, and features an aged steel roller buckle. The two piece long strap measures 56 1/2 inches long, 1 1/4 inches wide, and features 9 holes for adjustment. The bag features include, a large inside pocket, an aged bone button, a full welt, and an aged look. The straps and bag have both been given a dark brown, almost black color. I used a period correct oil and beeswax finish. 
Everything has been done completely by hand. It has been cut, sewn with waxed linen thread, dyed, and finished by hand, no machines or assembly line methods used at all just to save time.
