Leather Hunting/Shooting Bag #133

This is another unique, completely handmade and handsewn with waxed linen thread, leather hunting or shooting bag. The bag is made from 3-4oz veg tanned cowhide. The straps are made from 4-5oz veg tanned cowhide. The bag measures 6 3/4 inches wide at the middle and 7 3/4 inches from top to bottom. The buckle strap measures 14 inches long, 7/8 inches wide, and features an aged vintage harness buckle. The strap measures 57 inches long, 7/8 inches wide, and features 9 holes for adjustment. The bag features include, a cotton canvas lined flap, an inside pocket, bound main pocket edge, an aged brass button, and a period correct oil and beeswax finish. I have given the bag and straps an aged, used natural look. I did not use any leather stain to achieve the color, just oil. It will lighten some as the oil levels out.
Everything has been done completely by hand. It has been cut, sewn with waxed linen thread, dyed, and finished by hand, no machines or assembly line methods used at all just to save time.
