Leather Hunting/Shooting Bag(SOLD)

This is a one of a kind, leather 18th century, hunting/shooting bag. The bag is completely handmade and handsewn. I have used a period correct vinegaroon stain and finished the bag with a period correct beeswax/lamp black finish. The bag is made from 3-4oz veg tanned leather. The straps are made from 5-6oz veg tanned leather. The bag measures 9 1/4 inches wide and 9 inches from top to bottom. The long strap measures 51 inches long, 1 1/4 inches wide, and features 6 holes for adjustment. The buckle strap measures 12 1/2 inches long, 1 1/4 inches wide as well, and features an aged brass buckle. The bag features include, a carved folk art design on the flap, vintage red felt lining the flap, trim around the flap edge, and a pewter button. The straps are attached to the bag with handmade steel rings.
Everything has been done completely by hand. It has been cut, sewn with waxed linen thread, dyed, and finished by hand, no machines used at all.
